Tattered Florals Challenge by Tim Holtz

I realize its been awhile but when Tim put forth this challenge...I was up for some play time!!

I used the Alterations Tattered Floral Die (of course) and the Alterations Tattered Leaves.

Starting with the leaves..I cut calico fabric and thin packaging material. Gluing with Glossy Accents. Allowing it to dry..then hitting it with the heat gun to melt and form into shape! (Thanks for the tip Laura Denison)

The Alterations Tattered Floral Die was up next! Cutting grunge board, patterened paper, netting and EVEN a can of Arizona tea. Friendly Plastic too!! I adhered the paper to the grunge board. This gave me a strong base. Next layering the netting, cut metal and the die cut Friendly Plastic. (Do you remember this stuff, I guess its was around awhile back. Its new to me and its a ton of fun to play with.) Melt away...hehehe.. Give it a try. Thank You thefrugalcrafter! Finishing off with a brad in the center and some netting on the back.

Thank You Tim Holtz for the chance to play, not that I don't on my own..LOL

True Blood Tag Swap

True Blood Tag Swap
Clever Soiree

The Swap with Natashia involved a tag other than a manilla paper. I used Grunge Board and silver contact paper embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder. We were to describe what the show meant to us. I feel the "Intense Love" each couple has for each other depicts it best. That's why I included a mini album with some of the couples in the center. Although this season has certainly changed it up a bit! But we shall see what the rest of the season brings...
